 Austin and Tate Porter performed "I Hope They Call me on a Mission" at church on Sunday.  They did  a great job!  And Austin's friend Dylan, Megan and Aldo came to support and watch him!!

 Aldo is big into Cross Fit and has started the Piedmont Kid Cross Fit program!

Ashley's Piano Recital

Ashley performed excellent in her 3rd piano recital.  She performed Fur Elise and Beethoven's Symphony #5.   I'm a VERY proud teacher and MOM!!  Way to go Ash!!

Last Spring Piano Recital

I was overjoyed, emotional and completely proud of my students at the Spring Piano Recital.  15 performers.  I was so happy for all of them.  Great job students.

1/2 Marathon!

My dear buds Nicole Svenson and Jen Collier and I have been training for months for this Virginia Wine Country Half Marathon.  We could run in the hot sun and then jump in Nicole's cool pool after long runs....it has truly been a wonderful experience training with these gals.  Finally the day arrived, June 2, 2012.  With perfect weather and great conditions, we all ran our hearts out.  I finished in 2.03.  My PR was 1.50, but I was happy with this time.  Moreover, I was happy with the people I was running it with. After all, it was not the destination, it's the journey that was so fun. Thanks Gals for a great 1/2!!!

Silver Lake Fishing with the Johnsons

We had a BALL fishing with the Johnsons!  It was their very first time going so it was super exciting.  Fish were biting and everyone caught at least 5!  Great time!
