I have an amazing family. 2 of them. My side-the LaBarbera's and the Toler's. And Happy 49th Wedding Anniversary this year Mom and Dad. Thanks Toler's for another amazing Myrtle Beach vacation!!!

Father's Day 2010

Duane's been a dad for 7 years this Father's Day. I am so thankful for the wonderful Dad he is and his complete love and devotion he has towards his kids. Family is #1 to him. Thanks for being a great day honey!

I am also so appreciative of my Dads in my life. I am very blessed to have 2 dads that give me advice, support, love, encouragement and strength every day. I am very close to my dads and very thankful for them in my life.

Beach Baby

Ashley is a real beach baby. Both kids are. From 7am to 9pm-out in the sand, in the waves. This year she started body boarding and standing up on the board...our little surfer girl.

Myrtle Beach Fun 2010

Myrtle Beach has a special place in our heart. The beach we go to every single summer to get together and to RELAX. It's a wonderful week with Duane's side of the family. Terrie and Scott Capener sister and brother in law, Jenny and Tiffany, nieces and Rachel Lowe and her daughter Alexi-niece and the kids' second cousin. And of course Uncle Ray comes for a couple of days mid-week to spoil the kids like crazy!

Myrtle Beach for us is truly a real vacay...everything is taken care of. It's the same thing every year, and it's the same thing I look forward to every year. Staying on the beach, fireworks at night, Broadway at the Beach in the evenings (Build-a-Bear and feeding the fish, teacup ride and Magiquest!) body boarding, reading/laying out, being spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa, the flea market, crab catching, and most times our beach week lands on Father's Day. What a wonderful week to spend together full of rich traditions, memories that are made and keep growing every year!!

Myrtle Beach 2010

"I was made a man on the pier tonight". These words were frightening to me as Austin and JD came home. As I urged more abou this special evening, it came out that he actually 'walked' on the pier (the pier where only the teenagers go' and he walked through the part where only adults go' and he played video games where only teenagers go...and finally he got to take a sip of a MONSTER energy drink. That as the apex of the evening. One of Dad's drinks. It doesn't get any better than this.

Last Day of 1st Grade

First, and most exciting of all, Duane came home EARLY!!! He walked through the back door 2 days before he was scheduled to come in shocked all of us! Ashley clung to him like a baby monkey and Austin started crying. What a wonderful TREAT!!! 2 more days with Daddy! He'll be home till July 6. YEAH! We're off to our Myrtle Beach, VA Beach then 4th of July extravaganza now.

Today was Austin's last day of 1st grade. Dylan is Austin's neighbor/friend and was just as excited as Austin was that this was the end of the year! We started the day off healthy, with donuts on the deck. We even put hair color in his mohawk. It is the last day, he can't get in too much trouble can he? Good bye 1st Grade!!! Another year gone, summer here we come!

1st Grade End of Year celebration

I have absolutely loved being Austin's room mom this year! We had a super-special end of year celebration complete with classic outdoor games that inspired al 7 year old kids to go crazy! Monkey toss, sponge and bucket relay, 3 legged race, bean bag throw, egg relay, and a dress up relay. I've loved being party of Austin's class. And of course Ashley was a super helper.
