Daddy Comes Home for Spring Break '11

Austin got to go to a Washington Nationals Baseball Game with his buddy Dylan. They had excellent seats and even brought home a game ball!



Ash is doing a hip hop dance class at the Piedmont Club. She loves to boogie.

We are so excited that Dada can come home on all the breaks that the kids are out of school. We had a great time these 2 1/2 weeks!

Krispy Kreme

So we've driven to the Krispy Kreme donut shop in Alexandria only about twice per year. But we made the trip recently and an entire HOT NOW dozen were gone among the 3 of us while dining at the glorious glaze heavenly shoppe. I heart KK.

Scouts

Austin LOVES scouts. They recently went bowling on St. Patty's and Austin was pleased he scored the highest of his troop. I also got a Bobcat pin at our last pack meeting! It's true, these Scouts can't do it without Mom!

2nd Grade Field Trip-Natural History Museum

Austin had his second grade field trip to the Natural History museum. I entrusted him with a camera and he brought it back safely home! He was so proud of the pictures he took. Cool trip in DC at the height of Cherry Blossom season!! He had a blast.

Talent Show

This year Austin participated in the Mountain View Talent Show again as an Announcer. We love the Talent Show! Long as it is, I had some piano students perform and of course my buddy announcing. I was very proud! And Ashley saw a cardboard cutout of Justin Bieber...this little 5 year does have BIEBER FEVER!!!

Florida Trip

This winter, amid the mid February blah cold in DC, I took the kids on a surprise trip to FLORIDA to visit Pop and Grandma.
They had no idea they were going. I'd packed up their suitcases and on the way to the airport and I layed it on them!! They couldn't believe that we were just going for 9 days to FLORIDA! Great trip. Thanks Mom and Dad!!
