So we just found out that we will be in DC for the next year. No moving, nothing new. We're actually relieved. Duane stepped into a 2 year shift leader position and he's only been SL for one year, so he's with Condoleezza until Summer of 2009. Then the bidding begins again and it'll be a State Dept crapshoot!

That is great news. The Benson's are happy that we will be living next to the Toler's for a little bit longer.
Summer 2009, push for LONDON! I am glad you get to stay close to friends for another year, but sad we won't be here for it.

I'm glad you will be here longer too! I feel your pain about the whole bidding crapshoot! If Jim gets extended then we will be here until 2010 and then go overseas (if the 5 year rule really is a rule)! Cherilyn
